Holy Happy Hour
Attorney and activist Bernard Jocuns is gearing up to add another item to his resume as the host of a new radio show, entitled the Bernard Jocuns Holy Happy Hour, Wednesdays at 7PM. The hour-long broadcast will be a variety show, consisting of sociopolitical commentary, insight, satire, arts, entertainment, special guests and, of course, music.
Jocuns is a Lapeer-based attorney whose specialties include criminal defense and accident and personal injury cases, along with cannabis laws and policies. Jocuns was also the spokesman for the Coalition for a Safer Lapeer, which is in cooperation with multiple initiatives around the state. He was also appointed attorney for Michigan NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) and is a lifetime member of the NORML Legal Committee. Jocuns is also a Board and faulty member for Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan.
“I’ve been thinking about starting this radio show for quite a long time and the opportunity recently presented itself,” said Jocuns. “It will include a variety of different topics of discussion, certainly including cannabis, but the range of dialog will be quite broad. Guests will include individuals from various backgrounds and occupations, including music, politics and activism, many of whom are staples from communities around Michigan. The show will be Lapeer-centric, but will also be directed at communities throughout the entire state.”
“The Holy Happy Hour will be geared towards all manner of individuals, and we’ll have the opportunity for listeners to call in or email us during the show with questions and comments, which will stimulate dialog and interchange. It will be a very eclectic show that has never been done before, with great topics, great guests and great music.”
