Nick Lien

During the week, Nick is normally tasked with putting out fires (metaphorically. Well, unless a certain afternoon drive show here is involved.) at the stations that make up the Sanilac Broadcasting Company. But as it turns out, the deal that got Sean and Adam back on terrestrial radio, truly a deal with the devil if ever there was, got him an hour of internet radio airtime to be named later. Needless to say, Solid State Radio got the better part of that deal. Nick has as broad of a musical taste as anybody here; everything from metal (old-school or modern) to classic country, folk, Americana and bluegrass, and it’s the more mellow side of his musical palate that he explores each week on The Homegrown Radio Show. You’ll also hear him filing the occasional report for our morning newscasts. When he’s not working, which is about three hours or so a week, you’re likely to find him at a concert or tending to either the kids or the chickens.
